September 28, 2021

I have two new smaller format lower price print editions, now available for 24 hours here.

The first is River, which is a closer-up edit of my picture called River, and the second is Tamesas, a new piece made for this release.
The prints are available individually and as a pair.
As per usual, they're printed on gorgeous Hahnemuhle etching paper and look very lush, I can tell you for a fact.

Here are the details for each print:

** I'm also offering 5 of each print and 3 pairs for free to people currently not able to afford this sort of thing, via a draw.  If this is you, email rivertamesas@gmail.com with your postal details (no need to explain anything), and I'll be in touch on Friday to let you know if you have won one or two prints.  If you don't hear from me, either you haven't won this time or I'm trapped under a log and need help.

River was in the works for a while, and I completed it shortly after a week spent walking, swimming and camping up the River Thames, from Oxford to its source at Thames Head, last year.  Tamesas is the old Brittonic word for the river, broadly meaning 'dark'.  I spent a lot of time in the river as I walked up it, and it is lovely, dark and soft water. My original plan was to pop out for a few days for some swims and sleeps out in woods where I used to go as a child, and I ended up wandering further and further until I realised I was off to the Source. It was a week of marvels.
